Snowdonia Helicopter Tour – 30 Minute

Soak up the spectacular and dramatic aerial views from high-above Snowdonia with this thrilling Magic and Mountains helicopter ride.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed and briefed by one of Whizzard Helicopters' specialist flight crew. Once you are safely strapped into your seat, the helicopter flight will start from Bettws y Coed, set in the beautiful Snowdonia forest park and surrounded by woods, mountains and waterfalls.

From here you will fly south-west, passing over the castle at Dolwyddelan which was built in the 13th century by medieval Welsh Prince Llywelyn the Great.

The breath-taking range of scenery continues to unfold beneath you as you pass by the spectacular views of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Portmerion and Beddgelert, said to be the resting place of Llewelyn the Great's faithful hound, Gelert.

On your way back to Bettws you will fly past Snowdon, standing 1085 metres tall, it is the highest mountain in Wales and hosts some of the most beautiful scenery in the United Kingdom.

Duration: Your total experience will last approximately 30 minutes.
Minimum Age: The minimum age is 2 years old, anyone under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Fitness: This may not be suitable if you are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. The maximum weight is 107kg (17st).
Qualifications Required: There is no previous flying experience necessary.
Spectator Information: You are welcome to bring along family and friends to watch you take to the sky.
