The Atari 2600 holds a very special place in the hearts of gamers the world over – especially those old enough to remember a time before 40gb game downloads, 4K graphics and joypads with more buttons than we have digits. Specifically designed to emulate the classic Atari console of old, it comes preloaded with a massive 101 classic games including Space Invaders, Crystal Castles, Breakout, Asteroids and the amazing Frogger. Also in the box are two retro styled joystick controllers with one important improvement – they’re now wireless! Making the cable jungle in the living room a thing of the past. But if you really want to live the old school dream it’s even compatible with original Atari peripherals.
