Menkind Is One of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2020

Menkind has been voted one of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain by the London Stock Exchange Group. What does that mean and how did we do it? We spill the beans now!

1000 Companies to Inspire Britain: What’s that?

Being inspiring is one of Menkind’s main goals, and it’s what keeps us going. But, now it’s official. We’ve been included on the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report for 2020, put out by the London Stock Exchange Group!

So, what does that mean?

Well, it’s a big deal. Each year the London Stock Exchange Group takes a look at the nation’s SMEs, which are its small and medium-sized businesses. They then choose 1000 businesses that are helping to drive economic growth, lead innovation, and provide jobs in the UK.

Yeah, we’re pretty excited that we get that cred.

How we were chosen as one of the 1000 inspiring companies

So, as mentioned, this report looks at companies that are leading the way in their sectors. In order to be included, companies had to show some pretty strong revenue growth over the last three years. Plus, they also had to outperform their sector peers.

In a nutshell, we tried our very best to make each shopping experience as awesome as possible for our customers, and the rest happened naturally.

What does this mean for the future of Menkind?

This was all summed up perfectly by the CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, David Schwimmer. (He isn’t Ross, but we’d like to think of him as a Friend). He said, ‘The success of UK SMEs is crucial as we rebuild a post COVID-19 economy […]’

And, there it is. We’re proud to be a part of the push to get the UK’s economy back on track. But, that’s not all. We’re happy to have been able to bring some joy, entertainment, and excitement to households during the challenges of 2020. And, we’re going to keep it up for as long as we can.

Menkind: Don’t Stop Inspiring

At this point we feel like we’ve said ‘inspiring’ more than a motivational speaker writing real estate ads. So, we’ll ease off and simply say that we’re proud to be a part of the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2020. And, we’re going to keep doing what we do into 2021 and beyond!
