How to play Carcassonne

The game opens with one tile on the table, then players pick a tile from a face-down pile to create the terrain of roads, grasslands and castles among other things. As the tiles grow, the decision needs to be made by each player when to add their ‘meeple’ and score more points. This can be done tactically, as meeples on certain landmarks mean more points. It’s an easy-to-play classic game that develops strategy thinking skills too.

2-5 players, and anyone aged 8 years and up!
