The Comet series is the perfect entrance into the world of high-end remote control vehicles, and FTX models their products to be one twelfth scale. The Comet series has four vehicles, but this is the Desert Buggy – modelled after dune buggies that tear up the sand dunes of the Sahara and Death Valley.

This R/C dune buggy has a brushed motor and a 3-gear transmission, delivering awesome power. It also has a wishbone suspension with oil-filled shock absorbers, bevel geared differential, and a 3KG steering servo. It’s protected by a moulded roll cage and powered by a 6.4V rechargeable battery, which fits into the car via a bottom-loading battery hatch!
