Many have died in control of the Iron Throne – Aerys Targaryen, Robert Baratheon, Joffrey Baratheon (*cough*), Tommen Baratheon (*cough, cough!*), and that’s leaving out all the people who’ve died trying to claim it – Stannis Baratheon and his brother Renly, for example (gosh, best not be named “Baratheon” when you’re aiming for that throne, eh?). Well, while some people are happy to let the kings of Westeros keep their Red Castle, and their Iron Chair too, you’ll be glad to know that this Iron Throne is up for the taking.
