Right, now that we’ve got rid of the delicate little flowers, let’s talk about chillies! Coming in at a whopping 1,000,000 Scoville is the Bhut Jolokia Pepper, also known as the Ghost Chilli! This mouth-tingling, eye-watering, nose-streaming bad boy held the Guinness World Record for the hottest chilli on record in 2007! To put that kind of heat in context, it’s 400 times hotter than tabasco sauce!

We’re giving you the chance to not only taste the equivalent of dragons breath, but also grow it from scratch (well, seeds to be more accurate). The only two things you’ll need are water and sunlight, everything else is all stored within the can. The pepper can grow up to 10cm in length before you’ll need to think about repotting it, so we’re sure by the time it gets to that size you’ll be wanting a nibble! Ideally it’s best sat in a greenhouse but don���t worry if you’re not naturally green fingered, it can also be placed on a window sill, just as long as it has direct sunlight.
