Hexbug Scarab

If you’re afraid of creepy crawlies and things with waaaaaaaaaay too many legs then look away now! The Hexbug Scarab is a spine-tingling bug that’s quicker than a seagull wearing a jetpack (no, really, it is). It’s the fastest and most aggressive-looking of all the Hexbug robots so all you’ll be able to see of its little legs is a blur as it zooms across the kitchen floor at a bajillion miles an hour.

The clever robot boffins at Hexbug Central designed this colourful fella to mimic real-life insects by incorporating all sorts of clever techniques that allow the Scarab to dart this way and that, jumping back and changing direction as soon as it encounters an object in the way. The result is a truly frenetic mechanical bug that looks completely alive and a little mad!
