About Animal:

Animal is a British freesports lifestyle brand conceived by two surfers in 1987, who were fed up with continuously losing their watches in the water, due to straps breaking under extreme conditions. Setting up a production team in the small bedroom of one of their mother's houses, they began to make small quantities of watch straps from webbing, with a Velcro fastener, and sold them to fellow surfer friends.
