The board game is based on a story set in Monte Carlo in the 1950s. Found on a private beach is the body of a young woman, the beach is owned by the palace of Prince Reynard and the suspicion is automatically focused on him and his house guests. Questions are thrown around as each player is designated a character to play. The suspects include Prince Reynard, the most eligible bachelor in Europe, Princess Peacock, the distant cousin of Prince Reynard and the last survivor of an obscure family of Bavarian royalty and Colonel Jock Strapp, a Scottish soldier who won a Victoria Cross on D-Day and never returned home.
Hosts get a helping hand too with recipes, music and decorating tips along with a party planner, booklets on the characters, their roles and a few tasty secrets. The Monte-Carlo Murders game is for six to eight players in their teens upwards and includes six secret clues, CD with an introduction, scene letter, summary of events and solution to the crime.
