Polaroid Play 3D Pen

Ever wished that the little doodles you draw at your desk would come to life before your eyes? Well, thanks to this awesome Polaroid Play 3D Pen, your work is ready to enter the third-dimension big time.

This awesome device, suitable for ages 14 and up, allows you to draw and create three-dimensional images and structures. The pen comes with access to an amazing Polaroid Trace App, so you can bring up a stencil to ‘trace’ from on your smartphone or tablet. Simply place the provided screen-protector on your phone to keep it from being damaged, then you can ‘trace’ over it and create the pieces to assemble incredible 3D models.

Alternatively, you may decide to free-draw a model for yourself, and the 3D pen provides you with almost limitless creativity in this regard – from wireframe models to fun and colourful creations. The sky’s the limit! Better yet, you can be sure you won’t accidentally gunk up the pen if you leave it alone for a while, as the filament is retracted when the Pen is inactive, meaning the melted plastic won’t dry and block your pen’s business end.  

The box contains everything you’ll need to get started: The Polaroid Pen itself, along with a 1.5m USB cable for charging it, four 15g (5m) PLA filament packs to get you started on your artistic journey (with refill packs available separately), a quick-start guide to help set you up, and a Trace App Screen protector and four adhesive pads to keep your device safe while using the stencil app.
