Sailing Around the Solent Outing with Overnight Stay for Two

When can I go?

This experience is available seven days a week from March to October. Date restrictions may apply. This is a full day sailing with overnight stay onboard experience.

How long will my experience last?

You can stay onboard either the night before or the night after the Sail - please note this is not an overnight sail experience and the yacht will stay in the harbour overnight.

If you choose to stay the night before, please arrive at Lymington Yacht Haven whenever suits you – the yacht will be ready for embarkation from around 17:00. From here, you’ll be met by the Skipper and Crew and given a tour of the 53ft yacht, Sailing Spook. In the morning after breakfast, you’ll be supplied and fitted with life jackets and given a concise safety briefing. You’ll then set off on an adventure into the Solent for a beautiful three to four hours of sailing. The morning will finish in a stunning bay as the location for a relaxing lunchtime stop and swimming opportunity. The afternoon is spent with a further three to four hours of sailing as the journey around the Solent continues before finishing back in Lymington around 17:00.

If you choose to stay onboard the night after your day’s sailing, please arrive at 9:00am on the day of sailing where you’ll meet the Skipper and Crew. After the full day, you’ll be able to relax on the yacht for the evening, wander into town and enjoy a delightful night’s sleep in one of the four double ensuite cabins. In both instances, all bedding and towels are provided along with breakfast and tea, coffee, snacks and water.

Available seven days a week from March to October, this experience allows you to choose between staying overnight before or after the sail. If you choose the night before, embark at Lymington Yacht Haven, enjoy a guided tour of the 53ft yacht Sailing Spook, and relax before an exciting day of sailing. The next day, enjoy three to four hours of morning sailing, followed by a picturesque bay stop for lunch and a swim, and then another three to four hours of sailing in the afternoon.

Alternatively, opt for staying after the sail, where you'll meet the crew at 9:00 AM for a full day of sailing before returning to the yacht for a comfortable evening in one of the four double ensuite cabins. All bedding, towels, breakfast, and snacks are provided for a relaxing stay. This adventure is for two people and includes expert guidance from the Skipper and Crew. Whether you sail before or after, you're guaranteed a unique and unforgettable experience on the water.
