Star Wars BB8 Droid

The Star Wars BB-8 Droid’s™ movements and personality are as authentic as they are advanced. Based on your interactions, BB-8 will show a range of expressions and even react when you give voice commands.

BB-8 comes with 3 modes which let him explore the world outside the Galaxy. You can either let BB-8 explore autonomously, guide BB-8 yourself via the app, or create and view holographic recordings from a recorded video from your smartphone.

BB-8 is powered by induction charging and connects to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using Bluetooth technology. Simply download the app, pair him with your smartphone and watch him go!

There are 3 modes which you can set BB-8 in to let him explore the world:

DRIVE

In drive BB-8 will go wherever you point and hold, and he’ll even react to collisions. If you want to see more of his personality, enter the droid commander, choose an icon, and BB-8 will show off a range of expressions.

PATROL

Put BB-8 into Patrol to send him off on his own. His autonomous behavior allows him to move around, get familiar with your space, and investigate the surroundings. Tap the play button to get BB-8 on the move.

HOLOGRAPHIC MESSAGING

No Droid is complete without holographic messaging. Now you can make your own thanks to BB-8. Record a video and BB-8 will transform it into a virtual hologram.
