If you love imbibing Guinness and can't wait to get you hands around a lovely, thick pint, then perhaps you can curb your desire for this famous stout just a bit longer and drink a nice warm brew from this Guinness Coffee Mug featuring the famous Guinness Toucan mascot on the back and front. The mug is red outside and cream inside and measures 12 cms (4 3/4 inches) high. Inside at the bottom of the mug is the word GUINNESS - just to remind you that when you drain your eye opening, it's that little closer to beer o'clock.
Official Guinness Merchandise celebrating the style, wit and good humour of this extraordinary brand! Makes the great gift for a colleague at work, friend or fellow-bar fly! Why not give as a token gift this St Patrick's Day? After all, it's always a lovely day to have a Guinness.
Guinness History!
Arthur Guinness started brewing ales initially in Leixlip, then at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin, Ireland from 1759. On December 31, he signed (up to) a 9,000 year lease at £45 per annum for the unused brewery. Ten years later on 19 May 1769 Guinness exported his ale for the first time, when six and a half barrels were shipped to England. Pure Genius! The rest, as they say, is history!! It is popular with Irish people both in Ireland and abroad and is the best-selling alcoholic drink of all time in Ireland.
