Wall Climbing Spider

This is not a remote control toy for the faint hearted, and definitely not one for the arachnophobic: this is a wall climbing robotic spider, crawling and scuttling all over the place. Be afraid.

On a more serious note: this wall climbing spider is a fun remote control toy that’s sure to be great when Hallowe’en comes around (seriously scary business!). Visually, it’s big, black and fluffy – perfect scary spider material – and has all the requisite number of big, creepy legs. But the really interesting part about this fella is how it moves. The remote control allows for pitch-perfect movement, left, right, forward and backwards, giving you a wide range of directions to take and intuitive, easy to learn controls with which to take them.

More fascinating, however, is the vacuum suction technology that, at a single flick of a switch, allow the wall climbing spider to climb walls (funny that). This handy technology even lets him stick to ceilings, although we should probably mention that mother gravity doesn’t always get along with you in that field…
